Pic. 2.2 Rack storage

No matter big or small warehouse, it should be entered a single address system product placement, otherwise there will be unavoidable loss of goods and damages. This is important for increasing turnover, eliminate errors in product placement and quickly find their new employees even after a short briefing. The essence of this system is that each storage location is assigned a number (address), indicating the number of the rack, the number of the vertical section and the number of shelves. The address may be 4-5 or more characters. The program provides automatic indication of addresses in labels, receipts, statements, specifications, availability and inventory.

The success of any storage installation will be dependent upon the compatibility of the interface between the storage equipment and the vehicles handling the loads to be stored and retrieved.  Forklift trucks generally perform three main functions: 1) transport loads between areas; 2) stack heavy objects; and 3) load/unload vehicles. They can be pedestrian-operated or ride-on operated.

Counterbalanced Fork Lift Trucks Very robust, battery, petrol, diesel or gas powered trucks which carry their load at the front of the vehicle. The name for this type of truck is derived from the fact that loads placed on the forks are counterbalanced by the weight of the vehicle over the rear wheels. These trucks are available in a wide range of variants, to meet the multitude of handling tasks and working environments encountered. Mast heights and fork lengths vary according to the application and most designs are typically 2 or 3 stage according to closed height requirements.
